Fred Peipman, PhD

Fred Peipman, PhD , Licensed Psychologist

Drawing from my  past work with adults, teenagers, young adults, and families, I offer information, direction, and ideas for making real-life changes.

I specialize in treating mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, self-harm,  ADHD, family issues, work stress, and social anxiety. I am  known  for my warmth, compassion, blunt honesty, irreverence,  and sense of humor.   Using Mindfulness-based CBT , Relational Therapy, DBT, and ACT, my treatment approach is more conversational, action-oriented, and solution-focused.

In addition to licensure as a psychologist in California, Utah, and Colorado, I hold the following qualifications and specialized training :

  • Certified Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist

  • Psychedelic Assisted Therapist

  • Hypnotherapy

  • Anxiety Disorder Treatment Specialist

  • ACT Senior Clinician

  • California supervising psychologist

  • Trained DBT and MB-CBT Specialist

  • Certified Harm-Reduction Psychotherapist

My practice has utilized ketamine-assisted therapy for appropriate individuals. I approach this powerful tool for change with reverence, and an awareness of biological, social, psychological, and spiritual factors

I  love being outdoors and feel at home in the natural world. When not working, I enjoy snowboarding, traveling, sailing, scuba diving, singing, camping, and cooking.  I love to bake! I enjoy my home and family life in San Francisco.

Carrie Euler, Virtual Administrative Manager

I have always believed that one of the most important things I can do in life, is to invest my time in helping people. I grew up watching my mom, now a special education director, help others in the school setting and I chose to follow in her footsteps.

I've been a classroom teacher for the last decade as a certified elementary teacher and special education teacher (K-12). I've worked in different regions ranging from large metropolitan areas to rural mountain towns; including the Chicago suburbs, Tucson, Arizona and in Buena Vista, Colorado. Throughout this time, I've regularly worked with an array of students with diverse needs: including students with autism, learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and general education curriculum. These experiences have led me to a passion for helping others and a commitment to attending to their needs.

I currently reside in Colorado with my husband who works in the therapeutic setting, my son, and my two dogs.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking with my family, going to the gym, and refinishing furniture.
